Knit yourself up a Bit O’ Luck with this stranded colorwork beanie. It features a row of shamrocks and two rows of a mosaic pattern reminiscent of Art Deco mosaic tiles.
Whether you’re hoping to put a bit of the green on for St. Patrick’s Day or show your support for Notre Dame, this hat pattern fit the bill. And, the pattern even has extra instructions to lengthen the hat to be more of a toque or slouch hat.
Keya has provided instructions to make this hat in three different sizes – small (18 inches), medium (20 inches) and large (22 inches). You’ll need DK weight yarn where (in stocking stitch) 28 stitches x 22 rows = 4 inches (cable pattern st). You’ll need 40-45 grams of the primary color, 37-40 grams of the darker color and 28-32 grams of the lightest color.
