Bulls & Braids Boxy

Designed by Cheryl Beckerich of

Style and comfort truly come together in Cheryl’s Bulls & Braids Boxy knitted sweater. This intermediate-level pattern will help you create a sweater that fits perfectly with instructions for knitting 10 different sizes. Sizes range from a 33 inch bust up to a 60 inch bust with a length of 22 to 23 inches. You’ll need between 1300yards/1200m and 2025yards/1875m of DK or light-worsted weight yarn to knit this sweater.

Familiarity with cables is strongly suggested. And, if you could use a refresher course, making Cheryl’s matching Bulls & Braids hat first is a great way to practice.

To complete the Bulls & Braids Boxy sweater, you’ll need 4mm 36″/91cm circular needle, a 4mm 16″/40cm circular needle, 4mm double pointed needles, stitch markers, a cable needle, waste yarn and a tapestry needle.

Cheryl used Knit Picks Swish yarn in white to make her sample sweater.
