What would you do if you suddenly had a lot of free time on your hands? Well, if you were Cheryl Beckerich, you might spend your days designing wonderful knitted garments. Out of lockdown comes the Freedom Crescent Shawl pattern; an intermediate level design released in 2020.
Cheryl’s shawl is widest at the center, 20 inches, and is 58 inches long. She made hers with 1 skein of Potion Yarns Sparkle Lace (875 yards per skein) on 4mm 36 inch circular needles. You’ll also need stitch markers and a tapestry needle. The gauge for a 4 inch swatch is 16 stitches and 27 rows in stockinette stitch.
