Into The Deep begins as a top-down triangular shawl. But, once the shawl is wide enough to fit over the wearer’s head, it’s joined to create a cowl neck.
Karen designed her pattern to work perfectly with a single skein of gradient yarn. Or, you can use your favorite colors to create a look uniquely your own.
The finished shawl will have a 22 inch neck opening and be 17 inches at its longest point. You’ll need 460 yards of fingering weight yarn and a size 3.5mm hook (as needed for gauge). Karen’s lovely sample was made with InnerYarnZen Gradient yarn in Elusive Jellyfish Nebula.
