Every now and again a designer comes up with a pattern that is so timeless and versatile that it instantly becomes a classic. The Bellweather Cardigan is definitely one of those designs.
The first thing you’ll notice is that Keya gave us options. The pattern offers 182 different sweater possibilities across 7 sizes (26 possibilities per size). You can make your sweater with an A-line or straight body; long, short or 3/4 sleeves; with or without bust shaping and with or without pockets. Sizing is based on bust size and included sizes are: 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, and 58.
Oh, and it’s made top-down and without seams.
You’ll need US 7 (4.5mm) and US 6 (4mm) circular needles and between 1,230 and 4,182 yards of DK weight yarn to complete this project. Gauge is 28 rows of 20 stitches in stocking stitch for a 4 inch square.
