Triangular shawl knitting pattern by Keya Kuhn. Wicker is a lovely seamless shawl pattern with a series of openwork panels and a lovely drape.
Her sample was worked on 4.5mm circular needles (she suggests using at least 24″ long cables) and measures 71 inches wide by 20 inches deep with each side measuring 40 inches. She used her own wonderful Journey superwash Merino Wool in Cappadocia – a skein has 438 yards.
If you would like a larger shawl, you can make one by working additional garter stitch rows. The gauge is 18 stitches and 18 rows in garter stitch (blocked) to create a 4 inch swatch
